What the hell happened to SIAH?

Relax!

We’ve been doing a little cleanup around the SurreyInAHurry.com site. The maintenance revealed some cracks in the foundation and like all great projects, it spiraled out of control a bit. What we wound up with is a complete frame-off resto of sorts.

Apologies for the dust while we continue to clean up, but in the meantime you can read a little more about the changes.

Team SIAH at R.O.C.

Zak sent this in via text message:

Ken “Numba 1” Orser, Joe “Top Wop” Mura, Stefan “The Robot” Kondolay and myself are en route to the NHRA Division 6 ET Finals in Boise, Idaho to represent Team On A Mission. Hopefully, one of us wins and earns a spot in the NHRA World Finals in Pomona, California!

Nationals Champs!

(This just in… and I mean just in. The text message from Zak just came in 30 seconds ago…)

In what has to be the quickest SIAH update ever, it appears that Team Surrey In A Hurry members kicked ass and took names this weekend at the final race of this years NHRA Northwest National Open Series in Portland, OR.

A friend in need

Just got an update from Jason Gibson with more details about his Mustang and what we heard was a blown head gasket :

“…just thought i would give you an update of the car,not just one head gasket but both of them, as well as blowing the front bushing and seal out of the converter. Sent converter to TCS only to find out it was busted up pretty bad inside. Therefore negating a transmission disassembly to clean all the crap out. But best of all while the heads were off i couldnt help but notice a one inch crack right in the middle of the #4 piston

Anyone got a superpro car for rent? Only two days till i need to leave for Portland N/O and Boise.

I think im going to shoot the moonWHOOOPA!!!”

Congrats Kondolay!

Dollas Yo!The Kondolay’s got to put a little bit back in the bank this weekend after Stefan’s win at the $50,000 Pacific Sportsman National Drags in Seattle . It took 8 rounds to finish Saturday’s Super Pro class, but they walked away with $10,000 for their efforts.

Nice job and congrats from Surrey In A Hurry. Now maybe they can afford some brakes for the golf cart…
